Notch designed the PH-X from the ground up to address everything that's frustrating about legacy pruner heads: too many parts, hardware that gets lost in the field, anvils you can't service, and mechanisms that bind when you need them to cut clean. The result is a modern bypass pruner head that's simpler, tougher, and built for the way crews actually work.

The bypass cutting action uses a high-quality forged steel blade that resists bending and breaking under load. At 1.75 inches of cutting capacity, it handles the overhead pruning you're doing every day, from routine crown maintenance to storm cleanup and deadwood removal. The anvil is designed to stay sharp and, when it does eventually wear, it's serviceable and replaceable.

The one-piece cast ADC10 aluminum frame is where the PH-X gets its durability without the weight. There are fewer moving parts by design, and the internal captured spring keeps everything where it belongs so nothing gets lost on the job. Variable pull stroke length lets you dial in the feel to match your pole and your technique.

Compatibility is simple: the PH-X fits both fiberglass and aluminum polesaws with a female ferrule fit, and it's compatible with Notch aluminum polesaws and the Notch Pole Saw Set. High-quality rope is included.
